Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF)
Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) is a shredded, processed wood product (typically from clean, non-toxic hardwood or softwood sources) that is specifically engineered, screened, and maintained as a loose-fill safety surfacing material for playgrounds to provide impact attenuation and fall protection.
Loose Rubber Mulch
Loose Rubber Mulch as a playground safety surface is a loose-fill material made from shredded recycled tires installed at a sufficient depth over a prepared base to provide excellent impact attenuation, fall protection, drainage and durability while requiring periodic maintenance to prevent displacement and compaction. We only source a clean rubber product free of wires, metal debris, or staining dyes.
Artificial Turf
Artificial Turf as a playground safety surface is a synthetic grass-like system installed over a shock -absorbing pad that provides durable, low-maintenance impact attenuation and fall protection while allowing for year-round play and easier accessibility.
Poured In Place (PIP)
Poured-In-Place safety surfacing is a seamless, unitary rubber surface made from a mixture of recycled rubber granules (often with a colored EPDM top layer available in multiple colors and custom designs) bound with polyurethane and poured on-site over a shock-absorbing base to create a highly durable, wheelchair-accessible, low maintenance, and visually interesting playground surface with excellent impact attenuation and fall protection.
